Is your student heading out to do some science at ECOS very soon?     Keep your eyes open for a packet which includes a permission slip that should be coming home with your student.   This packet will have the information that you need to prepare your student to make the most of their time at ECOS.

FAQs: 

When will my student return?    The ECOS day falls within the regular school day so their start and end time will be the same.  School transportation also is the same as their daily routine. 

What are they going to eat?  Your student will participate in their regular lunch plan.  However, we encourage students to bring an additional healthy snack because they can use the extra energy after being so active.  A water bottle is always a good idea in the outdoors.

What should my student wear?   Your student will be outside for much of the day.  Depending on the season, please make sure they are dressed for the weather.  They can always take a layer of clothing off but they can't put one on if they didn't bring it and they start to get cold or wet.

What if I have a medical or special care concern for my student?  We have a fully staffed office which includes a nurse.  All of our teachers are in radio contact with the office at all times.  Please make any special needs known on your permission slip.
